1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Ledgerly mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Service Description
Ledgerly is a financial management application that allows users to:
- Track and monitor personal expenses
- Create and manage budgets
- Analyze spending patterns
- Set financial goals
- Manage multiple accounts
3. Privacy and Data Protection
Your financial data is your property. By default, all your data is stored exclusively on your device. However, you may optionally choose to use cloud backup services:
- Google Drive Backup (Android): If enabled, transmits your data backups to Google's servers
- iCloud Backup (iOS): If enabled, transmits your data backups to Apple's servers
When using cloud backup services, your data is subject to the respective provider's terms and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing these policies before enabling cloud backups.

4. User Responsibilities
As a user of the App, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when using the App
- Maintain the security of your device and app access
- Configure and maintain backups of your data: You are solely responsible for preventing data loss. We strongly recommend using one of the available backup options (Google Drive, iCloud, or manual export).
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
- Use the App only for its intended purpose
- Review the terms and privacy policies of any cloud backup providers you choose to use (Google Drive, iCloud)
5. Limitation of Liability
Ledgerly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:
- Any financial decisions made based on the app's calculations or recommendations
- Loss of data: Including but not limited to device failure, accidental deletion, or failure to configure backups
- Cloud backup service reliability: We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or unavailability related to third-party cloud services (Google Drive, iCloud)
- Any technical issues or bugs that may occur
- Compatibility issues with specific device models or operating system versions
Your responsibility: You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for ensuring your financial data is backed up and protected against loss. Failure to configure or maintain backups may result in permanent data loss.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
